Tipping uses in Romania

I'm staying in Bucharest just for some time so I still can't speak romanian and I would like to visit some girl.

 

My doubt is if I'm supposed to give a tip to a girl besides the price. I'm not talking about a tip if I'm pleased, but if, for instance, in a massage parlour I have to give an extra money to the masseuse. Uses change from country to country and I don't like to be scammed. My question is for massage parlours, announcements girls and street girls.

Be more specific: country you visited/reside and corresponding tipping custom. This way you can help others with info.

In India or Thailand you must pay about 50% more to the girl, but not with independent escorts or street hookers, but in places where you first pay to another person.

Don't concern yourself with these issues here...tipping just makes them retire early and who wants that?

 

Try to haggle as much as possible. You'll be charged the "foreigner tax" anyway and this is not Thailand...thai whores know their place and they behave if they don't want to starve. Can't say the same about our whores...

That's why is called "tipping", you tip only if you're satisfied with the service (of the waiter, barber, escort, etc). Don't worry, most romanians are cheap so most of them don't tip at all. :-)

Here, in massage salons a girl gets ~ 50% of what you're paying. Pimping is (very) illegal (while prostitution gets unpunished) and that's why (I think) most escorts are independent so they keep 100%.
