Then on my return, customs officer firstly saw that hes colleague stamped me getting out, and asked if I haven't had 500 euros, and I said right. Then he threatened me with a fine for not having a vignette and, of course, asked for bribe which I gave him. He explained that I could buy a vignette at every gas station... nice, why it's not more obvious if not to make room for mistakes by foreigners which would be solved by bribe . But ok, I've lost some 27 euros all round and learned my lesson. I'm sorry things are that way, but, who cares, I won't judge whole Romania by custom officers... it's a big country and I believe there are more good than bad people there... like anywhere else for that matter.
