Could it be that girls, for there safety or whatever reason chooses to go to the reception instead of coming up to the room, or maybe a un - written rule with hotels that calls girls have to register with them or get blacklisted...

Thanks, Exactly, these hotel lobbies are so small , intercontinental has such a small lobby area and entrance, if its late at night, any girl coming in will draw attention
